Suchandra Roy Acharyya, fondly called Romi, was born in 1997 and brought up in a suburban town Rishra, 20 km away from Kolkata. Her academic journey started in St. Joseph's Convent, Chandannagar and then graduated in B.Pharma from Jadavpur University. She completed her Masters in Biotechnology in IIT Guwahati and is now pursuing Ph.D in the Max Plank research institute at Dortmund. She is a passionate reader. Being an introvert but silent observer, her experience in various socio-cultural environments stirred up her feelings and values to pen paint some pictures embossed in her mind. This is her first story book in the eyes of Raka sketching different shades of male chauvinism.
